Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to announce that the XXV Galyna Puchkovska International School Seminar "Spectroscopy of Molecules and Crystals" (XXV ISSSMC) will take place on September 21-24, 2021 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The XXV ISSSMC is organized by the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Physics Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The XXV ISSSMC aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research students to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of spectroscopy.

It also provides a platform for participants to present and discuss the most recent ideas as well as practical trends and solutions developed in the different fields of molecular spectroscopy.

Traditionally, the program of the XXV ISSSMC focuses on all modern aspects of the experimental and theoretical spectroscopy of crystalline solids, nanosystems, liquid crystals and amorphous materials, liquids, polymers and biological systems, surfaces and thin films, materials for opto- and molecular electronics, new spectroscopic methods and applications.

Given the current situation with the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19, the Organizers decided to hold their 25th conference in the on-line format.

All participants will have the opportunity to present their results to the scientific community either in person via zoom platform or in the electronic form.

The XXV ISSSMC Scientific Program will consist of on-line plenary lectures (via zoom platform), digital oral and e-poster contributions.

The plenary lectures will provide comprehensive reviews in new and developing areas of molecular spectroscopy.

The official language of the conference is English.

To participate in the XXV ISSSMC, please, fill in the online registration form, prepare your one-page abstract using the abstract template and upload it to the conference web-site https://isssmc.org.ua

Conference registration fee amount is 300 UAH. The payment details will be provided in the Second Announcement.

THE DEADLINE for registration and abstracts submission is May 31, 2021.

The participants are encouraged to submit full-length manuscript of their presentations for publication in the special issues of Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals journal or Ukrainian Journal of Physics.

All articles should be prepared according to the rules for author and are subjected to mandatory selection and peer-review procedure.

THE DEADLINE for sending the manuscript and supplemental documents is September 24, 2021.
