Modern IR complex, composed of VERTEX 70 FT-IR spectrometer equipped with HYPERION 1000 microscope

We have the most modern infrared (IR) spectroscopy complex, allowing to characterize both homogenous and heterogeneous materials with unprecedented quality. With very sensitive VERTEX 70 FT-IR spectrometer we can obtain highly resolved spectra for precise analysis of material's composition, and by using attached HYPERION 1000 microscope we can record IR spectra from different areas of heterogeneous material, thus, mapping its properties.

VERTEX 70 FT-IR spectrometer for demanding R&D applications

The VERTEX 70 is the first fully digital FT-IR spectrometer for demanding research and development (R&D) applications. The spectrometer is equipped with optical components covering full spectral range from 10,000 cm -1 down to 50 cm-1 (near-IR - mid-IR - far-IR). The spectral resolution of better than 0.5 cm-1 is suitable for most applications for solid or liquid samples. The data acquisition is based on advanced DigiTect technology prevents external signal disturbance and guarantees the highest signal-to-noise ratio.

HYPERION 1000 microscope for precise IR microanalysis

HYPERION microscope provides the highest level of IR microanalysis capabilities, utilizing state-of-the-art optics for optimal sample visualization and IR data collection. It designed for various routine and advanced research applications; including life sciences, art conservation studies, forensics, polymer research, failure analysis etc. Spectral range of device is 12000-600 cm -1. The microscope is optimized for samples with areas up to 170 μm. Typically a spatial resolution of 8 μm can be achieved in the mid-IR spectral range with the standard objective in transmission or reflection. The microscope is equipped with a special sample stage allowing for careful rotation, thermo stabilization (temperature from -196 to 600 °C) and humidity control of the sample.
