It was proposed a polaron mechanism of proton movement in chains with hydrogen bonds, in particular in transmembrane proteins of cells. It was revealed the mechanism of activation under the action of a quantum of light of the transmembrane protein bacteriorhodopsin of the bacterium Halobacterium Halobium.

In cooperation with another team of experimenters led by Prof. Galina Puchkivska from the Department of Photoactivity, it was investigated mesomorphic transformations and dynamics of the proton subsystem in liquid crystalline carboxylic acids. The mechanism of formation of molecular associates was proposed. The proton conductivity of the NH₄IO₃2HIO₃ crystal was investigated both experimentally and theoretically, and a complex mechanism of superionic conductivity was constructed; the mechanism combined pure polaron hopping conduction and band conduction.

Together with the Laboratory of Applied Ferroelectricity and the Department of Physics of Biological Systems, the influence of scalar fields generated by certain devices on the physical and chemical characteristics of aqueous solutions of organic compounds, in particular, blood plasma, was investigated. The possibility of using such technical devices in medical practice was proved.

In a team with employees of the Institute of Environmental Geochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences, with the Department of Nuclear Technologies, headed by the director of the institute, member-cor. Prof. Dr. Yu. Zabulonov we carried out research on the purification of water contaminated with radioactive elements and determined an original method of purification, as well as proposed methods of plasma purification of water contaminated with persistent organic molecules. A method of accurate and rapid determination of radioactive contamination of the territory by implementing a special theoretical analysis/measurement algorithm has been developed.

Significant results were obtained in the direction of understanding the foundations of physics. A monograph entitled Structure of Space and the Submicroscopic Deterministic Concept of Physics, CRC Press, Taylor & Fenton Group, USA (2017), was published, which highlighted those results.
