It is designed as a part of automated remote control system (ARCS) for railway rolling stock. It employs twospectral infrared radiometer, which has a vibration-resistant pyroelectric sensor system. The device is placed in a floor camera fastened to the rail. It includes optomechanical detector and microprocessor automated control system, which are managed by ARCS computer.
Such a device is inevitable for Ukrainian railways to meet the up-to-date safety standards and raise the vehicles velocity to 300km/h. Having the design documentation, the device is suitable for manufacturing production.
