Textile Connect 2020 – Virtual Matchmarking

The desire of Ukrainian companies to export will not be stopped by any virus.
During 4-8th of May the EEN-Ukraine Consortium co-organized the virtual matchmaking event – Textile Connect 2020 on a specialized EEN platform.
Textile Connect 2020 brings together companies and designers looking for partners among manufacturers, suppliers in the textile and footwear industries. It helps Ukrainian companies find new partners, share experiences with leading international companies and provides an opportunity to follow market trends and get acquainted with technological innovations in light industry.
Three partners of the EEN-Ukraine consortium, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine, the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine and the New International Corporation co-organized the event. During the event, virtual B2B meetings were held between Ukrainian light industry enterprises and European manufacturers, designers and suppliers of fabrics, accessories, clothing, footwear and equipment.
In total, more than 500 participants from all over the world took part in the event, including 30 Ukrainian companies and participants of the light industry cluster of Chernihiv region.
