AERO-UA Information and Networking event in Kharkiv, Ukraine

On 31 May 2018 Consortium EEN-Ukraine participated in the information event organized in the frame of AERO-UA project. The event was held as an Information and Networking Event in Kharkiv region, Ukraine. The event was aimed at raising the awareness of the Ukrainian aeronautics community about opportunities to collaborate with the European Union in the frame of collaborative research projects.
The event was attended by about 50 representatives of the aerospace industry of Ukraine. Visitors were able to hear about the main innovations support programs from the expert in the relevant field:
- EU-Ukraine collaboration in aviation research ( speaker Igor Rybalchenko from National Aerospace University “KhAI”)
- European aeronautics networks – their benefits and how to join (speaker Maryna Gorohovatska National Academy of Science of Ukraine)
- Opportunities of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) (speaker Andrii Yaremkevich, expert of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium, Institute of Physics of NAS of Ukraine)
During the speech, EEN expert Andrii Yaremkevich made a presentation on the European Union's program aimed at European integration and support for the competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which was established by the EU for the period from 2015 to 2020. In the presentation, he highlighted the benefits of work the region SMEs in the Enterprise Europe Network with focus on the aerospace industry. Participants of the event received detailed information on European business support tools and overview of programs for SME such as Horizon 2020, COSME, EEN. Visitors were invited to take an active part in the consortium activities, as well as to seize the opportunities of the Network to find partners.
