Information day in Zaporizhzhya «How to find a business partners in the European Union»

On May 4, the EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine in Zaporizhzhya held an information day "How to find a business partner in the European Union". The event was held at the Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was aimed at representatives of small and medium businesses.

The main experts of the event were:

  • Andriy Kuts, Vice-President of the Zaporizhzhya Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
  • Alexander Pavlov, Head of the Regional Initiatives Agency;
  • Oleg Kuzmenko, President of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce;
  • Vadim Zagarii, Senior Expert on Deregulation and Entrepreneurship Reform, Reform Support Team, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine
  • Olena Fesenko, Coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium, Head of the International Cooperation, Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property Protection Department of the Institute of Physics of the NAS of Ukraine.

The main topics of the event were:

  1. The benefits of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area for Ukrainian entrepreneurs;
  2. Presentation of COSME (Competiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises) - European Small and Medium Enterprise Support Program;
  3. Presentation of the opportunities of the Enterprise Europe Network as an instrument for finding foreign partners;
  4. European advisory support for small and medium-sized businesses and assistance in establishing business contacts in EU countries.
  5. Opportunities of the EU4 Business EU program and their practical application for working with the European business environment.

The purpose of the event was to explain the importance of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, the dissemination of European values and raising the awareness of Ukrainians about the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU. Also were shown the success stories of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium.
