Workshop on cooperation within the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)

On 27 October 2015 in the main building of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (TSNUK) the workshop on cooperation within the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) tools was held.

The workshop was organized by the EEN-Ukraine Consortium and presided by its Coordinator Dr. Olena Fesenko (Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) and Dr. Oleksandr Bediukh (TSNUK, partner of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium).

Workshop participants were:

  1. EEN-Ukraine Consortium Participants.
  2. TSNUK’s Horizon 2020 Contact Point staff.
  3. Researchers and lecturers from Ukrainian HEIs.
  4. Researchers of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
  5. Different companies.

Coordinator of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium talked about EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) – COSME running from 2014 to 2020 and about the main activities of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium.

Oleksandr Bediukh held training on preparation of profiles in the EEN and, in particular, he stressed the peculiarities of profiles description and differences between processing of technology and business offers/requests.

Vyacheslav Solntsev - head of patent licensing department of TSNUK took part in the discussion of issues related to intellectual property rights while preparing profiles, and representative of the H2020 contact point, Oleksandr Menshov informed the audience about the interaction of EU programs - COSME, EEN and Horizon 2020. It was noted the importance of support of SME innovation development in COSME and Horizon 2020 programs.

Participants of the workshop received handout materials with recommendations on preparation of EEN profiles.
