All-Ukrainian Festival of Innovations
27-28 September 2017
On September 27-28, 2017, the Ministry of Education and Science together with the Taras Shevchenko National University, the Scientific Park of the TSNU and EEN-Ukraine Consortium held the All-Ukrainian Festival of Innovations.
The purpose of the event is to popularize the development of national scientists and innovators, attracting investors to finance the introduction of the latest developments.
Within the framework of the festival there were a number of events:
- Conference "Problems of normative and legal support of innovation activity and ways of their solution";
- Startup Competition in the field of economic innovation;
- Startup Competition in the field of social innovation;
- V All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference of young scientists and students on intellectual property issues "Ukrainian legislation in the field of intellectual property and its application: national, European and international dimensions".
Participation in the conference was attended by representatives of universities, science parks, other innovative structures, universities, public organizations and the real sector of the economy, whose sphere of interest includes academic entrepreneurship and the introduction of innovations.
A number of promising innovations and startups of young Ukrainian scholars were presented at the festival. Among them, such as: “RoadSSL” - an energy efficient road lighting project that changes the color of lighting, depending on the situation on the road and the weather conditions, a “smart greenhouse” - a project where the watering and ventilation in the greenhouse is controlled by a smartphone, a “SmartCare” bracelet that monitors the basic parameters of human life, “Holobox” - A device for holographic demonstration of prototypes of real things and the “ArtOS” system designed for automated artillery fire control.
Coordinator of the Consortium EEN-Ukraine Fesenko Olena participated in the festival as one of the co-organizers. During her speech, the Coordinator greeted all the participants of the festival and provided information of the possibilities of the EEN program for entrepreneurs in the direction of expanding cooperation with the EU countries and seeking for potential investors and partners. She also spoke about the COSME program and the competitions that are open now in the frame of this program.
