Dear participants of 3rd International Summer School! Best scientific works will be recommended for publication in the following editions: Springer book "Nanotechnologies and nanomaterials" and International journal "Nanoscale Research Letters". Please, contact the organizing committee till September 30, if you want to submit your article.
At the time of the 2nd International School was a competition among young scientists for the best report. The jury consisted of lecturers from Poland, Estonia, France, Russia , Italy, Ukraine , England. The reports were evaluated on a five-point scale. All lecturers noted the very high level of young scientists and the relevance of their research.
The winner were Claudio Magistris and Iryna Gryn.
2nd place received Mariia Dekaliuk, Pavlo Demchenko and Kostiantyn Shportko.
3rd place received Pavlo Ivanchenko, Andrii Uklein, Ievgen Pylypchuk, Maxim Barabashko and Alina Lyashchova.
The Summer School was held from 23 to 30 of August 2014 in two places: August 23-26 in Yaremche and August 27-30 in Lviv.
3rd International Summer School "NANOTECHNOLOGY: from fundamental research to innovations" gave the opportunity to young researchers and early-career scientists to participate in a series of lectures on the emerging fields of Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies. Top class Experts from Universities and Research Institutions shared their knowledge and experience in the format of lecture presentations and round table discussions.
The list of the Summer School Lecturers and lecture titles can be found via the LINK.
ADVANTAGES of participating in this School were the following:
Expanding their knowledge and scientific understanding
Consultation with exceptional scientists and engineers from various fields of science
Experience what 'interdisciplinarity' means in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Understand the 'From Theory to Practice' process
Have the opportunity to show research work as oral presentations and discuss research work face-to-face with experienced researchers
Seek advice on publishing of unpublished research results
Learn how to be open to new ideas, be creative and how to implement them
Enhance professional networks for future career opportunities
Get confidence at an international scientific event and programs, particularly in the Horizon 2020 Programme of EU
and:
Enjoy a social program
