Lecture title: Infrared spectroscopy in studying biofunctionalised gold nanoparticles.
Lecture abstract: Biofunctionalised Au nanoparticles (BF-Au-NPs), with bio(macro)molecules attached to the NP surface, are used in a variety of applications. Infrared spectroscopy of such BF-Au-NPs and products of their biospecific interactions will be considered.
