2nd International research and practice conference "Nanotechnology and nanomaterials" was held in one of the main cultural centres of today's Ukraine - Lviv, August 27 to August 30, 2014.

During the conference there were plenary sessions, oral speeches and poster presentations.

The conference bring together leading scientists and researchers from different countries of the world.

This event focused on the latest advances in nanosciences and nanotechnologies and promoted profound scientific discussions between scientists and researchers from different disciplines and countries.

Thematic priorities of the conference were the following:

• Nanoobjects microscopy

• Nanocomposites and nanomaterials

• Nanostructured surfaces

• Nanooptics and nanophotonics

• Nanoplasmonics and surface enhanced spectroscopy

• Nanochemistry and Nanobiotechnology.

One of the focuses of the International research and practice conference "Nanotechnology and nanomaterials" was Possibilities in the participation in Horizon 2020 Programme of EU.
