The
applied research
- Alignment
films for liquid crystals and reactive mesogens
new alignment process for liquid crystals and
reactive mesogens is developed based on the treatment of the aligning
film with
a collimated beam of accelerated plasma (plasma beam etching).
Modification of
this method for the alignment treatment of large area substrates is
proposed
