Equipment
for characterization of liquid crystal alignment
Uniformity
of anisotropic films and LC layers is
studied by their observation in polarized light boxes and polarizing
microscopes.
|
There
are available two polarizing optical microscopes
from LOMO (Russia).
One of them is conjugated with digital camera allowing taking static
and
dynamic images and displaying them on monitor of PC computer. The
microscopes
are equipped by in house produced system of thermal stabilization. |
