Dear colleagues !
Organizing Committee of the Eighth International Conference «Electronic
Processes in Organic and Inorganic Materials» (ICEPOM-8) invites you to attend the
Conference.
GENERAL INFORMATION
International Conferences «Electronic Processes
in Organic Materials» (ICEPOM) are organized periodically
in the different regions of Ukraine to improve the collaboration of Ukrainian
and foreign scientists. Results of investigations concerning most actual
problems of organic materials physics are the subject of ICEPOM conferences.
These problems were specified from conference to conference by International
Program Committee.
-
First conference from ICEPOM series was held in Kyiv from
26 August to 1 September 1995 (67 participants from 6 countries).
-
Next ICEPOM-2 Conference was on May (18 - 22) 1998
in Kyiv. There was already 132 participants from 15 countries including
USA, many European countries, Asia.
-
ICEPOM-2 Abstracts have been published in «Europhysics
conference abstracts» (V.22B), and proceedings have been published
in special volumes of «Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals»(v.324)
and «Functional Materials» (v.5,N3).
-
More than 90 scientists from 15 countries took part in ICEPOM-3
Conference. There are more than ten plenary and poster scientific sessions.
Special topical on organic solar cells and LEDs, as well as on photo-induced
phase transitions were organized for the first time in the history of ICEPOM
conferences. Proceedings have been published in special volumes of
«Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals»(v.361) and «Functional Materials»
(v.7,N 4 (1)).
-
C.a. 100 active workers in the field from 17 countries took part in ICEPOM-4
Conference. There are more than ten plenary and two poster scientific
sessions. ICEPOM conferences also promote the popularization of technical
development in the field of physics of organic materials. An example would
be the reviews of the current state of the art in organic solar cells and
organic light emission diodes presented at this conference. Two scientific
delegations (by 10 persons) from Linz Institute of Organic Solar Cells at
J.Keppler University, Linz, Austria and Wroclaw Technical University, Poland
and 20 other scientists from many scientific centers participated in
ICEPOM-4 conference. Proceedings have been published in special volumes of
«Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals» (v.384, 385) and "Materials Science"
journals.
-
More than 150 scientists from 14 countries
took part in ICEPOM-5 Conference. There are more than ten plenary and poster
scientific sessions. Special sessions on novel organic materials and
composites, including confined liquid crystals; polymer systems and
nanostructures were presented. A review of the current status of nonlinear
properties of organic composites as well as and new results in the field of
flexible solar cells were presented during the sessions on “NLO properties
of organic structures and composites “ and “Organic Solar Cells based on
composite and hetero structures”. Proceedings have been published in special volumes of
«Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals» (v.426, 427).
-
Appr. 150 scientists from more than 15 countries
took part in ICEPOM-6 and ICEPOM-7 Conference. There are more than ten plenary and poster
scientific sessions. Special sessions on novel organic materials and
composites, confined liquid crystals; polymer systems and
nanostructures, NLO properties and application of organic materials were
presented. Proceedings have been published in special volumes of
«Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals» International Journal (v.467, 468
and v.496, 497).
The participant of ICEPOM-7 agreed to continue the series of conferences, holding a next meeting (ICEPOM-8) in the West Ukraine on 2010.
ICEPOM-8 Conference will be held in Ivano-Frankivsk Region, Ukraine on May 17-22, 2010
Conference place is Residence Synyogora hotel in the picturesqueGorgany mountains, over 600 m above sea level.
