International brokerage event "MARKETPLACE AUSTRIA FOOD 2020"

The annual international brokerage event for food and beverage buyers "MARKETPLACE AUSTRIA FOOD 2020" took place on the 14th of October, 2020. It was supported by the Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine. Every year the event is held in Vienna and due to quarantine restrictions, this year not all interested companies were able to attend the event, so the organizers of the event gave participants the opportunity to visit the event online thanks to a specialized B2B platform

"MARKETPLACE AUSTRIA FOOD 2020" is an exclusive opportunity for food and beverage buyers to meet Austrian food, retail and wholesale manufacturers.

The event was attended by 107 representatives of foreign buyers from more than 20 countries around the world who are interested in food and beverages produced in Austria. Due to the support of the EEN-Ukraine consortium partner, the Institute of Physics of NASU, three companies from Ukraine took part in the event and kept 26 online meetings with representatives of Austrian manufacturing companies. According to our participants feedback, the event helped Ukrainian companies to establish new contacts and, in the future, will lead to fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and Austria.
