Information day in Poltava "Participation in European Trade forums and exhibitions: opportunities for Ukrainian business"

The seminar "Participation in European Trade Forums and Exhibitions: Opportunities for Ukrainian Business" for entrepreneurs of Poltava region, organized by the “Internews Ukraine” within the framework of the EU Delegation to Ukraine was held at the Poltava Center for Local Self-Government Development on the 17th of September 2019.

It was attended by 42 participants representing small and medium-sized businesses in the Poltava region. All participants listened to theoretical and practical advice on the effective promotion of their business in the EU and Ukraine, including participation in forums and exhibitions. Moreover, features anti-counterfeiting and piracy.

Representative of the EEN-Ukraine Consortium, expert Yehor Slobodianyk, presented opportunities of the EEN Internet portal.

Speakers and topics of the event:

• SERGIY KOZIN, Vice-President of the International Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ICC Ukraine) on public-private partnership and interaction with the authorities told “How an entrepreneur choose an event to effectively promote their business”;
• VALENTINA LASHENKO, Coordinator for sourcing issues at the Export Consulting Division of the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine told about “Services of the Ukrainian Export Promotion Office for Ukrainian entrepreneurs”;
• LARISA SEVOSTYANOVA, a representative of the Ukrainian Anti-Counterfeiting and Piracy Alliance told interesting facts “Educational campaign "Day against counterfeiting and piracy in Ukraine”;
• YEHOR SLOBODIANYK, Expert of the Enterprise Europe Network-Ukraine provide comprehensive information on “Promotion of goods and services in the EEN system, innovation support and the EEN calendar”;
• SERGEY DANILEYKO, founder of Ukrainian Snail Holding told about himself “Experience in negotiating with international partners”.
