Information day in Severodonetsk "Participation in European Trade forums and exhibitions: opportunities for Ukrainian business"

On 7th June 2019 at Luhansk Center for Local Self-Government Development took place a workshop for entrepreneurs in Severodonetsk and Luhansk Region "Participation in European Trade forums and exhibitions: opportunities for Ukrainian business". The seminar was organized by “Internews Ukraine” within the information campaign of the EU Delegation "Building Europe in Ukraine" with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine. More than 30 representatives of business, governmental and non-governmental organizations took part in the workshop.

The main topics of the workshop were:

• • How to choose an entrepreneur for effective promotion of their business;
• • Promotion of goods and services in the Enterprise Europe Network;
• • EEN Calendar as an effective way to find specialized business events and contacts with potential buyers, partners and investors;
• • Increasing the effectiveness of participation in international exhibitions;
• • Internationalization services from the Office for promotion of Ukraine's exports;
• • Protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the EU and Ukraine;
• • Practical advice on participating in trade fairs of the EU and others.

Among of the event speakers were:

• • Sergiy Kozin, Vice-President of the International Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ICC Ukraine) on public-private partnership and interaction with authorities;
• • Yegor Slobodyanyk, Expert of the Enterprise Europe Network-Ukraine;
• • Anastasia Krylov, specialist in education for exporters, project manager of Creative Export Ukraine Office for promotion of Ukraine's exports;
• • Alina Strilets, specialist of the analytical department of the Export Promotion Office of Ukraine, expert of the EEN network;
• • Oksana Popruga, representative of the Department of Economic Policy of the EU Delegation in Ukraine.
