Information Day in Kherson «How to find a business partner in the European Union?»

The Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, together with the EEN-Ukraine Consortium held an information day "How to find a business partner in the European Union?" on 22 of June 2018. The event was attended by more than 30 representatives of innovative enterprise and various start-ups of the region.

Among the main experts of the event were:

• • Oksana Popruga, representative of the Department of Economic Policy of the EU Delegation to Ukraine;
• • Andriy Yaremkevich, Expert of Enterprise Europe Network;
• • Vitaliy Belobrov, Chairman of the Board of the Public Organization "Business Association We are the Khersons";
• • Olena Kolomoytseva, International Trade Center Project Manager.

During his speech, the expert of the Network Andrii Yaremkevich made a presentation on the European Union's program aimed at European integration and support for the competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, which was established by the EU for the period from 2015 to 2020. In the presentation, he highlighted the benefits of work the region SMEs in the Enterprise Europe Network with focus on the aerospace industry. Visitors were invited to take an active part in the consortium activities, as well as to seize the opportunities of the Network to find partners.

Other speakers presented interesting tutorials with practical elements of work in the field of intellectual property rights protection and practical recommendations on the choice of markets and potential partners.

The Information day participants received detailed information on European Business Support Tools and an overview of SME Programs: Horizon 2020, COSME, EEN. The reports attracted huge interest from the audience and a lively discussion of the details and capabilities of the EEN in Ukraine.
