Information day in Ternopil "How to find a business partner in the European Union"

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, held an information day "How to find a business partner in the European Union?" on 31st October, 2018. More than 30 representatives of innovative enterprises, non-governmental organizations and startups of Ternopil region took part in the event.

The main topics of the event were:

  1. The benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
  2. Presentation of COSME - European Small and Medium Enterprises Support Program.
  3. Presentation of the opportunities of the network "Enterprise Europe Network" as a tool for finding partners abroad. Practical EEN Training for Finding Partners and Investors in Europe.
  4. Ternopil Regional Center for Entrepreneurship Support and its activity in establishing business relations with European partners
  5. Attraction of foreign investments in small and medium business of Ukraine and possibilities of export to EU markets for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
  6. European market and finding business partners from local entrepreneurs who are already working successfully on the EU market.
  7. Possibilities of ICC Ukraine International Chamber of Commerce for the exit of Ukrainian entrepreneurs into international markets.

The main experts of the event were:

  • Mykola Chaika, Expert of the European Enterprise Network (Enterprise Network)
  • Irina Porseeva, Head of the Ternopil Regional Center for Entrepreneurship Support
  • Volodymyr Vasilevsky, Director of the Agency for Regional Development of the Ternopil Oblast
  • Taras Demkura, Vice-President for Regional Development of ICC Ukraine International Chamber of Commerce
  • Miroslav Zagorsky, director of Eco Snail LLC.

Participants of the seminar showed great interest to the Enterprise Europe Network platform and portal. Special attention was paid to the quantitative indicators of network efficiency and the quantitative information that can be obtained by the Enterprise Europe Network about European markets. A large number of business contacts were received from companies that are interested in further cooperation with the EEN Consortium.
