Information Day in Kropivnitsky "How to Find a Business Partner in the European Union?"

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine held an information day "How to find a business partner in the European Union?" on October 10 in th Kropivnitsky. The event was attended by over 30 representatives of innovative enterprises, non-governmental organizations and start-ups of the region.

The main experts of the event were:

  • Ilya Timashkov, Expert of the European Enterprise Network (Enterprise Network)
  • Tetyana Kotenko, Head of the NCP "Horizon 2020" in the direction of "Small and Medium Enterprises"
  • Ihor Filippov, Vice-President of the Kirovohrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Maxim Polishkevich, Managing Partner of the Law Firm "Resultat"
  • Oksana Bondarenko, Deputy Director for Commercial Issues of "Interresources"

The main topics of the event were:

  1. The benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area (GWWT) for Ukrainian entrepreneurs
  2. Opportunities for COSME (Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises), European Small and Medium Enterprise Support Program for Business Development in Ukraine
  3. Presentation of the possibilities of the Enterprise Europe Network as an instrument for finding partners and investors abroad.
  4. Consulting support and assistance in working with the international markets of the Business Support Center in Kropyvnitsky
  5. Business partnership with European companies: legal aspect
  6. Opportunities and Challenges of the European Horizon 2020 Program for Business Entities
  7. Practical advice on entering the European market and finding business partners from local entrepreneurs who are already successful in the EU market.

Participants in the Information Day received detailed information on European Business Support Tools and Small and Medium Business Overview: Horizon 2020, COSME, and EEN. Participants of the seminar were acquainted with all the advantages and potential of EEN programs, as well as received a large number of business contacts who are interested in further cooperation with the consortium.
