Information Day in Zhytomyr "How to Find a Business Partner in the European Union"

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine on September 6 held an information day " How to find a business partner in the European Union? ". The event was attended by over 40 representatives of innovative enterprises, non-governmental organizations and various start-ups of the region.

The main experts of the event were:

  • • Vadim Zagariy, Senior Expert on Deregulation and Entrepreneurship Reform, Reform Support Team, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine
  • •Mykola Chaika, Expert Enterprise Europe Network-Ukraine
  • •Artyom Sachuk, Director of the Agency for Regional Development of Zhytomyr Region
  • • Mikhail Lesnyak, founder of the company "OUTVED"
  • •Arkady Lesnyak, partner of the company "OUTVED"
  • • Nils Gorlic, co-founder of "Eurogold Industries Ltd"

The main topics of the event were:

  1. The benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
  2. Presentation of COSME - European Small and Medium Enterprises Support Program.
  3. Presentation of the opportunities of the network "Enterprise Europe Network" as a tool for finding partners abroad. Practical EEN Training for Finding Partners and Investors in Europe.
  4. Practical advice from European entrepreneurs focusing on attractive niches of the Ukrainian market
  5. Methods and road map of the output of Ukrainian enterprises to European markets
  6. Presentation of opportunities and attractive sectors of Zhytomyr region for European markets
  7. Analysis of the competitiveness of Zhytomyr region in relation to other regions of Ukraine

The Information Day participants received detailed information on European business support tools and a review of small and medium-sized businesses: Horizon 2020, COSME, EEN.. The participants of the seminar were informed about all the advantages and potential of the EEN programs, and a large number of business contacts who are interested in further cooperation with the consortium were gained.
