Information Day in Dnipro "How to Find a Business Partner in the European Union"

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine on September 12 held an information day " How to find a business partner in the European Union? ". The event was attended by over 40 representatives of innovative enterprises, non-governmental organizations and various start-ups of the region.

The main experts of the event were:

  • • Vadim Zagariy, Senior Expert on Deregulation and Entrepreneurship Reform, Reform Support Team, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine
  • • Mykola Chaika, Expert Enterprise Europe Network-Ukraine
  • • Sergey Kucheryavenko, vice president of the Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • • Olga Kilova, founder of LLC "Trading house" NEW-LINE "and" Scientific-production company "GOYDA" "
  • • Oleksandr Nikitenkov, Head of the practice of tender support of the law firm "Pravoe Delo" and others.

The main topics of the event were:

  1. The benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
  2. Presentation of COSME - European Small and Medium Enterprises Support Program.
  3. Presentation of the opportunities of the network "Enterprise Europe Network" as a tool for finding partners abroad. Practical EEN Training for Finding Partners and Investors in Europe.
  4. Practical arrangements of the efficient use of opportunities of European specialized exhibitions
  5. Methods of bypassing "pitfalls" when bringing new products to European markets
  6. Opportunities and participation in European tenders on public procurement
  7. History of successful entry into the markets of Germany, Poland and the Baltic region.

This Information Day not only provided participants with new and useful information about European SME support programs. It has become place to establish new business ties. Exchange of experience on ways to overcome barriers to the providing of their own products to markets in Europe. Participants also discussed possible further steps to create favorable ambient for doing business in Ukraine and selling goods in European markets. A large number of business contacts were received from companies interested in further cooperation with the EEN Consortium.
