Information Day in Poltava "How to Find a Business Partner in the European Union"

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium together with the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine on September 19 held an information day " How to find a business partner in the European Union? ". The event was attended by over 40 representatives of innovative enterprises, non-governmental organizations and various start-ups of the region.

The main experts of the event were:

• • Andriy Remizov, Chief Specialist of the Entrepreneurship Development Department of the Entrepreneurship Department, Department of Enterprise Development and Regulatory Policy, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine
• • Mykola Chaika, Expert Enterprise Europe Network-Ukraine
• • Alexander Nikitenkov, Head of the practice of tender support of the law firm "Pravoe Delo"
• • Volodymyr Kramar, director of PE Best-Agro
• • Hlib Lukyanenko, Director General of PE "Agroecology"

The main topics of the event were:

1. The benefits of a deep and comprehensive free trade area for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
2. COSME Presentation - European Small and Medium Enterprises Support Program.
3. Presentation of the opportunities of the network "Enterprise Europe Network" as a tool for finding partners abroad. Practical EEN Training for Finding Partners and Investors in Europe.
4. Opportunities and participation in European tenders on public procurement
5. The history of the successful experiance of agricultural business of the Poltava region on the markets of Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.
6. Features of regulation and certification of agro-products for the appearance of Ukrainian enterprises to European markets

Participants also discussed possible further steps to create favorable ambient for doing business in Ukraine and selling goods in European markets. A large number of business contacts were received from companies interested in further cooperation with the EEN Consortium.
